Beach Wassenaarse Slag
The Wassenaarse beach is also called the Wassenaarse Slag. To reach the Wassenaarse Slag you first have to climb the cliff and then you drive through the dune area to the beach. You can reach the Wassenaarse Slag by bike, on foot, by scooter or by car. If you come by car, there are two paid parking spaces: De Kuil and De Zeelust.
The beach in Wassenaar also has a rescue brigade. This is available every day in the summer months of July and August between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. In the months of May, June and September, the rescue brigade is present during the weekends. You can recognize the rescue brigade by the red shirts and the tower that is on the left when you enter the beach.
BEACH PAVILION WASSENAAR BATTLE
There are 4 beach pavilions on the beach. There is also a beach pavilion on the dune. If you go for a nice fresh pizza, burger or piece of fish and if you want to feel your feet in the sand, then you have to go to Beachclub Bida Baai. Beachclub Bida Baai has a relaxed atmosphere and you can also go there if you want to pick up something. A little more luxury than a visit to Beachclub Bait. You will soon have a holiday feeling here too. And whether you come for breakfast, the famous Fish & Chips or one of the bites, you can enjoy this place to the fullest.
There are also the beach pavilions Sport (located on the left when you come to the beach) and Strandhuis de Golfslag. Brasserie de Badmeester is located on the dune and has a beautiful view over the beach and the sea from the terrace.
In addition to the beach pavilions, there are also various pick-up options. There is, among other things, a snack bar and an ice cream parlour.
ACCOMMODATION WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE FROM THE BEACH

DOG WASSENARIAN BATTLE
Dogs are allowed on the bathing beach (beach at the beach pavilions) all year round, with the exception of 15 May to 15 September (summer months). The dogs are allowed to run free all year round south and north of the bathing beach. In the winter months you can walk the dog everywhere.
