My Favorite Place: When the weather is nice, the terrace by the swimming pool and golf course Het Wedde.

Where: Richard Wagnerlaan 85, Voorschoten. Behind the sports fields

Why: We have a good memory of this place. From the moment our son was allowed to go outside after birth, we regularly took a walk from the Nassauwijk, past tennis court Forescate, the meadows, the water towards the Wedde. This always gave a relaxed feeling, almost never crowded and friendly people at the Wedde. Even when our son grew up, it was an ideal place to sit, while he could play in the playground and mess around with sand. This terrace is a nice place to stop during a bike ride (it is located on the bicycle highway in the direction of Leiden), or just to have a nice snack or drink after swimming, playing golf or other sports. Unfortunately, the catering industry at the Wedde is currently closed. Hopefully we can go there again soon with good weather.
