Where: The bridge over the water between two lakes in the north of Vlietland

Why: From this bridge you have great views on both sides of lakes, reed beds, forests and a park-like landscape. Vlietland is a versatile and extensive water sports, recreation and nature area with a rich history. The heart of Vlietland is formed by three lakes. Waterways, cycle paths, footpaths and roads connect Vlietland with the beautiful and culturally-historically interesting environment. In addition, it borders the Groene Hart and Vlietland has direct sailing connections with surrounding municipalities and other Hollandse Plassen. There are plenty of opportunities for water sports and land recreation in Vlietland. There are ports, a sailing school, a surf club, a rowing club, a large aqua park and a water sports center. You can rent sailboats, sloops, pedal boats, motor boats and canoes and learn to paddle and flyboard. There is even a spectacular climbing park.
