My Favorite Place: Nature reserve Lentevreugd

Where: Katwijkseweg Wassenaar

Why: My roots are not in Voorschoten or Wassenaar. I am born and raised in Katwijk and I work in both villages. I always find it difficult to make choices in places. Every place has its charm at different times. When I drive from Wassenaar to Katwijk, I always enjoy the animal beauty at Lentevreugd. You soon imagine yourself in another world. Although walking is limited for me, the poetry route is highly recommended. Then you come to places in Wassenaar that you normally pass by. And it can be picked up at the library. Sailing in the waters around the villages in the spring and summer sun gives you a holiday feeling. Looking at everyone's gardens in detail. And in the context of food… enjoy delicious ice cream from Luciano, have lunch on the large terrace of the Gouden Leeuw, tapas at Me Gusta, a warm bagel from Bagel Alley or a drink at Hudson.
