Where: The Burgemeester Berkhoutpark
Why: The Burgemeester Berkhoutpark represents for me the most beautiful place in Voorschoten. Since I was born in the Burgemeester Vernéde Park, which is close to the Berkhout Park, I have often been in the park from an early age. Now I live in the Bijdorp district and from there it is a nice walk to the Berkhout Park. Especially in recent years before the renovation and now also after, I can certainly be found in the park a few times a week and usually come back with a few beautiful photos. The park changes color with the seasons. At the moment you see the different colors of green on the trees and shrubs, then the park is at its best. But it is also beautiful in autumn when the trees are adorned with their beautiful colored autumn leaves.
