My Favorite Place: The Farm on the Nassaukade
Where: Nassaukade, Voorschoten near Dillenburglaan
Why: I like sheep a lot. And I love Voorschoten. The two come together in all sorts of places in the village. Whichever way you come into the village, you always have a chance to see a few. At the station, along the Veurseweg and on the Leidseweg (near Moerkerk), for example. But Voorschoten, a village in the middle of the Randstad, also has an active farm in the middle of the village. On the Nassaukade, the sheep and cows graze peacefully between the houses. The passing train does not disturb them. What a wealth to live in a village with so many sheep. I think I will already register with the Florence Care Center. Then in 40 years I can still watch sheep every day.
