My Favorite Place: The Rosenburgh Park hiking area
Where: Rosenburgherlaan or Veurselaan 184 in Voorschoten
Why: I often walk here with my dog Binky. To get to my favorite place, I take the path that runs through the nature farm 'Tante Tokkie'. 'Tante Tokkie' is Van der Valk's nature farm behind the Golden Lion. I walk past the animals and then arrive at the park Rosenburgh. Here I enjoy the peace and quiet and the beautiful nature, the trees, the cows and the sheep that now, in the spring, graze with their lambs.
Further on, the path leads past the fishing pond where a number of fishing places have been set up and eventually you arrive at the Kinderboerderij Voorschoten. You can rest after the walk at Theehuis Jansland, www.theehuisjansland.nl.
