My Favorite Place: The Voorstraat

Where: The Voorstraat at No. 28 Voorschoten

Why: I am a native of Voorschoten and proud of our beautiful village. Voorschoten has many beautiful places. It is not for nothing that it is nicknamed 'the pearl on the vliet'. What I like about Voorschoten is that, despite the fact that we are now above 25,000 inhabitants, it still has that village character. People know each other, greet each other on the street and stop for a chat. The most beautiful place in Voorschoten for me is absolutely the Voorstraat with the beautiful characteristic old buildings, the lime trees and the beautiful catering industry that we have there. When I go home at the end of the working day, I always cycle via the Voorstraat and think back to the beautiful parties we all celebrated here. From Paardenmarkt to King's Day and Jazz culinary to the weekend of Voorschoten. I hope we can all do this again very soon, with full terraces please, in the most beautiful street in our village.
