Wassenaar beach

Wassenaar beach or the Wassenaarse Slag is a lovely wide sandy beach that you can easily reach by car, bicycle or on foot. The beach is of course a fantastic place in any season. In the summer you can sunbathe and swim, in the autumn it is wonderful to get a breath of fresh air and take a walk. You can get a breath of fresh air in the winter and in the spring you can enjoy the beach, the view and the peace and quiet.

The beach of Wassenaar is a wonderfully quiet beach. You will never lie against each other here like on Scheveningen for example. For the children there is therefore still plenty of space to play in the sand.

At the beach there are several beach pavilions where it is good to stay. In good weather, you can of course sit on the terrace, which means sitting back in a comfortable chair and enjoying the view while enjoying a drink, lunch, drink or dinner. Of course, all beach bars on the Wassenaarse Slag also have an indoor area where you can go. And whether you are with the kids, just the two of you or with the whole family, the beach pavilions in Wassenaar are the ideal place for this.

Parking

There are several two large parking spaces behind the dunes and only a 2-minute walk from the beach, namely car park de Zeelust and de Kuil.

Taking the dog to the beach

Would you like to take your dog to the beach in Wassenaar? In the winter you can walk the dog everywhere, but in the summer months different rules apply. There are special areas for this where the dog can run freely.
