Cycle route

Children also like this cycling route full of experiences! Boating, playgrounds, farms and all kinds of goodies on the way. One day is almost not enough!

The experience route is approximately 25 km long. This is certainly a tough trip for children. Hence the nice stops along the way and you can of course shorten them yourself. For example, you can take the boat from Farm 't Geertje to the Vlietland recreation area. But if you take a whole day, the route is really doable.

You can of course start anywhere, but two useful starting points are:

- Van der Valk Voorschoten There is a lot to do there with your children. A great nature playground, petting zoo and a pancake farm! There is ample parking, a supermarket for snacks en route and bicycle rental available (note: no children's bicycles).

The route goes from Voorschoten to the Vogelplas near Vlietland, through the beautiful polder to Stompwijk and Zoeterwoude, Cronesteyn and then back again via the Vlietland recreation area.
